The host Anna was kind and responsive. Conveniently located under 10 minutes from the airport - it was a great night of rest after multiple long haul flights. Highly recommended!

It is very tastefully decorated in a traditional fashion, which makes a pleasant change from the ubiquitous Scandinavian minimalism elsewhere. It is very conveniently located right next to a free car park and a store, a few minutes walk from the town centre. It is 5 minutes from the main car rental locations, and 10 minutes from the airport.

It is very clean and tidy. The neighbourhood is very quite and is very close to Keflavik airport (reachable by bus no. 55 from the airport). The host responded to all questions almost immediately.

Easy auto check in, nice neighborhood, nice size lot so you dont feel like you're in the city and a hot tub that will have the gamer or puzle mind person at work to figure it out. I did and love the enginuity of it. We planned our first night at Ghost town because it's close to the airport, the bridge between two continents, the blue lagoon and the active volcano. Perfect for starting your adventure across iceland or if you only have a day or 2 layover. It was the perfect start to our 2 week adventure. 😀 Thank you guys

I can't say anything about the Gesthouse because one day before our arrival we were moved and upgraded for free to the other place which belongs to the same owners (Volcano House). And the Volcano House was just amazing, perfect, fantastic! Huge house (4 separate bedrooms, huge living room with the kitchen, private garden, private terrace, 2 bathrooms etc.), equipped with everything what's needed, very good wifi, private parking, in the center of Grindavik. It was really great and we didn't expected that! All that time communication with the owners was even more than perfect! Totally recommend that place!
