Absolutely loved this place but due to our schedule we needed to leave early the next day so couldn't enjoy breakfast there. The restaurant was exceptional - the service, ambiance and food were a very high standard. With the added bonus of going into the Cowshed to meet the calves and cows! Plus we got to see the Aurora in this location just topped off a fabulous but too short stay! We will definitely be back to enjoy more of what the area has to offer.

The Apartment was beautiful, comfortable, featured plenty of windows to enjoy the stunning view of the lake in front and the mountain in the back. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need, there is even a laundry machine. The location is perfect, right next to Dimmuburgir, Hverir, the cave and of course the lake which benefited us with a beautiful sunset from the kitchen. It wasn't so cheap but worth the money.

With a terrace, the property also features a shared lounge and a fully-equipped kitchen. Had an awesome stay! The host was super friendly and gave us some great tips for things to do in the area. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was really handy. Just bring your dinner/lunch and cook as if you are at home cause you will have plenty of pots/pans/oil/salt. Our room was clean and modern. We even got to see the Northern Lights in April!
