The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, going out of their way to ensure a comfortable stay. The room was clean, well-appointed, and had everything I needed. Wifi worked properly. Hot water was available. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The guesthouse has a beautiful garden with many different types of plants. I would highly recommend Bononi to anyone visiting Jorhat.

They have their own private jeep for safaris and an excellent wildlife guide that you can hire to go into the park with you. The food is local and very tasty, but not too spicy. We ate all our meals at the resort because the food was excellent. The lodges are basic but comfortable, to give you a more of an into the nature feeling. Many birds and several species of monkey can be spotted on the grounds of nature hunt.

From the moment I arrived Anshuman and Anisha made me feel at home, like I was staying with old friends. The place was spotlessly clean, the kitchen well appointed, the room was spacious and comfortable and the wifi lightning fast. I enjoyed being walking distance from Paltan Bazaar with it's hustle and bustle, and it was a quick, cheap rickshaw ride into the centre of town. I'd happily recommend Golpo - Stories and Stays to anyone. Can't wait to come back.
