Super value for money, warm welcome from the lovely host family, very comfortable beds, great shower, excellent breakfast, funny cats and lovely dog. Convenient location within walking distance along lake Muckno to the Main Street in Castleblaney with a selection of cafes, shops and bars. A 5min drive to the Restaurant “The View“ which has a stunning outlook over the lake and fantastic food. We would highly recommend staying here. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Outstandingly beautiful location and enormous, elegant rooms. Wonderful staff. Owner very warm and welcoming. Also the chef who cooks the breakfast is a lovely person and her breakfasts are delicious.

Excellent location on the way to Northern Ireland. Host was fantastic, very sweet and helpful when we needed to check in after midnight it was no problem and even early breakfast was possible and very tasty full Irish breakfast

Everything about this property is fabulous. Tucked away down country lanes , set on a river. Our welcome was warm and genuine. We found all the staff to be polite and friendly even though they were dealing with a roomful of people.We liked the food so much we had lunch, dinner and breakfast here. Definitely worth a detour.

The room is clean, the sightseeing outside is very beautiful especially during sunset and raining, here also provides the most delicious breakfast that I had tried during the whole trip in several countries. And the most important thing is that the landlord is really nice!!! if we go to Monaghan again, we will still book this hotel!

I am very pleased with my stay at this hotel, which is located in a very convenient place. Everything was perfect and comfortable. The room was clean, with a nice interior and thoughtful details. Delicious breakfasts made a pleasant impression. I really liked the hostess of the hotel and her attitude towards me as a guest, she was very friendly and kind. I felt like at home. I highly recommend this hotel, it is really worth a visit.
