We were travelling on bicycles and were able to keep them secure on the balcony outside our room. The cafe downstairs had cold drinks and a great view of the tennis courts from the balcony. Just a short walk over the bridge to town for restaurants and bars.

The staff were excellent and friendly. The hotel is well equipped in every way. The bedroom was well appointed with the TV in just the right place, the large double bed (two singles together) was very comfy and they supplied two duvets which was great. Bathrobes were also supplied. The bathroom was roomy and again well equipped with everything, soaps, shower gel and towels, floormats etc. Breakfast was a real plus with fruit, pastries, cooked eggs, cheese etc and even smoked salmon. Pod coffee machine was a welcome bonus.

The rooms we stayed in had an original and nice design. I really liked the look and the property was nice and comfortable. It is easy to reach the historic part of the town, including the town hall, all being just a few minutes of walking away.
