We could not have wished for a better stay at the end of our vacation. Alexia and Adrien were wonderfully warm and kind hosts, who make guests feel at home. We loved the very generous and relaxing breakfast each morning around the large dining table, chatting with other guests (there were also a couple of smaller tables available). We also made use of a very comfortable guest lounge, with guides and other books. The chateau, furnishings and design are stunning! Our bedroom (and adjoining bathroom) was one of the best we have stayed in, with a very comfortable bed. We were also encouraged to share the large and beautiful garden, where we had a welcome drink from Alexia. The chateau is very well located for travel to/from Calais, and there is plenty to do in the area. We particularly enjoyed visiting Le Touquet. Excellent suggestions for restaurants from Alexia. The host was very thoughtful & generous in supplying everything you could wish for for a comfortable stay & I was able to get some extras in a local store. It is in a nice quiet location really convenient for the airport. I picked it to avoid stress on the day of a very early flight & was so glad I did. I wish I had more time to spend there & hope to be back. It seemed to be a place full of character. Thank you to the exceptional host.
