Our host was most informative and helpful which was a bonus.The area around the accommodation is very nice with a number of dining options, stores and scenic strolls. Creperie Le Platin was a real find - doesn't look much but really good! Parking is adequate on the street with overnight free. The island itself is terrific. Great for a drive around with lots of wonderful towns. La Rochelle is a wonderful little city for a wander around.
