Breakfast was amazing - complimenting the beautiful panoramic view. We recommend doing the morning hike/ run with Sharon, as well as visiting the natural waterfalls, lakes and hot mud pool (watch out for falling coconuts!!)

Situated in Savusavu, Beachfront Villa - House of Bamboo, Infinity Pool features accommodation with a private pool, a patio and mountain views. This beachfront property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. Outdoor seating is also available at the villa. House of Bamboo was the perfect place to stay. Located 6km out of Savusavu, along a very pretty seaside road, House of Bamboo was surrounded by beautiful tropical vegetation while still offering stunning views of the sea from its large deck. The house was very comfortable and extremely well equipped so that we had everything we needed for our 8 day stay. The beautiful pool area was a lovely bonus. There was great snorkelling right out in front and we enjoyed the use of the property's snorkelling gear, kayaks and paddleboards. Taxis to nearby Savusavu were cheap and readily available. We were met by our host at the airport and farewelled on departure, and our luggage was carried up and down the 100 steps for us! Meagan and staff could not have been kinder or more helpful - they were absolutely wonderful, and we were very appreciative of that. We all loved our stay at House of Bamboo and would definitely stay here again if we return to Savusavu, which we would also love to do!

Beautiful spacious cottage. Very comfortable. Views of the sea through the foliage. Amazing location with some great snorkelling over the road and 20mins walk to split rock which more fabulous snorkelling. Easy to get taxis into Savusavu which had everything we needed. Just go to the road and wait. Kitchen facilities and clothes washing machine all great. Lovely hot shower. Jan and Ian were so helpful and kind. Made the stay a real treat. Would definitely stay again if back in the area. Thank you.

Much different than the mainland. Small, remote, and tranquil. We flew into Nadi, stayed 1 night, then bought a round trip ferry through South Seas Cruises, which was a good move. They drop you right out front of the bay at Wai Makare to a small boat transfer. A HomeStay here at this eco-resort is unique. We did both the dorm sleeping in single beds with other guests, and a private room with 2 beds. We prefer the private room as a couple. Kind of like glamping. Some updating is in progress. This is a small eco-resort run by a local family that is on the opposite side of the island from the main village. For example, water is captured in a tank from rain water. The fish we ate for lunch was freshly caught the night before. You can sign up to watch them spearfishing 🐟🎏 Good food is prepared for 3 meals a day. Like 3 diff meals were fresh Wahoo fish fillet, vegetable and egg stew, and chop suey. At the homestay… Good food, good people, and snorkeling that is world class. The wide private beach is beautiful with a coral garden drop off and 100s of fish, 50-70 meters swim from the shore. Unplug as there is not wifi here. This was a plus in our eyes and helped us relax. Sigasiga Sands Boutique Bungalows is a recently renovated villa in Savusavu, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities. This villa provides free private parking, free shuttle service and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace. We liked the placement, we were litterally at 50 meters from the beach, it was calm and very peaceful the all time. The interior of the Tiny House was well equipped, we were just two with my wife and we had everything we needed and the nights were great during the entire 5 days (the warm showers are a big plus in the morning as well!). The personnel was great and Subash the manager was really nice during the all stay. The meals proposés are very good and affordable (we did all Breakfast and dinners at the Tiny House) and we were always satisfied :) Also, the WiFi connection is ok, and even if we expériences some slow bandwidth some time it was largely OK during our stay. We couldn't more recommand the Sigasiga Resort, it's trully awesome!
