This was honestly one of the best properties I have ever stayed in! Clean, beautiful, comfortable and an incredible location for all of our activities that we did! My stay at Cityhome Kaarto was truly amazing. A big thanks to the team for providing an early check-in and guiding perfectly on reaching the location. Coming to the property, I must say it is very cozy, comfortable and well equipped. The kitchen has sufficient utensils and was fun to work in. All the appliances like the Microwave/coffee maker/dish washer/washing machine were working as intended. The kitchen has coffee, filter & sugar. There was also some groceries (like pasta, spices, oil etc) in the kitchen that one could use if needed. The location is great as it's close to super markets & restaurants (5 mins walk). The railway station and the city center are just a 15min walk. If i'll ever visit Rovaniemi again, I'll only stay here.

We booked the pod for one night and It included the use of the shared cabin. The shared cabin was very comfortable and had a sauna in it. The shared cabin also had a great selection of snacks and other cooking items available. There was some biscuits and Glögi available when we arrived which was so nice. It is recommended to bring some of your own food with you for dinners and lunches. Breakfast items were available to us during our stay. The reindeer salami was amazing. There are all of the cooking utensils and pots/pans, cups, plates, silverware, dishwasher, stove, kettle coffee machine. Marco was super friendly and an amazing host, gave us all the information needed for our stay. We highly recommend this property to get away from the city and enjoy the quiet in the countryside. On our day of checkout we even saw a reindeer on the property which made it even more magical. The pod was very comfortable, has a door code to access which is given to you at check in. The view was great as it faced the lake. Bed was very comfortable. Temperature was adjustable in the pod. There is a toilet in the pod and it doesn’t use water. We just used the one in the shared cabin. There is a roof brush available at the property to brush off any snow that falls on the roof windows of the pod so your view is not obstructed. Would highly recommend. Only 20 min drive to Santa Claus village and 22 min drive to airport

Everything was just amazing! If you enjoy spending some time away from resorts and the city rush, if you like the silence and beauty of nature, this is the place for you! Quite place with traditional Finnish bath and sauna (Amazing!). I had the cabin that was located 2-3min walking in the woods, separated from the main buildings, making your own heating with firewood, relaxing at candle light, watching the aurora borealis from complete darkness (depending on the weather, I was lucky and had clear night sky), it was just amazing!! I forgot to mention the host! A very nice person, very helpful, I appreciate everything, starting with the messages before arriving, pre heating the cabin, all the info about the area and the busses at leaving, there would be so much more to say.. Thank you for the experience, I hope next year I can visit again!

It had everything needed for a long stay, and the location was perfect right in the city center, close to everything: the bus to Santa Claus Village, the airport, and all the main spots. The place was comfortable, the bed was great, everything was clean, and the apartment was spacious. We were two people and it was more than enough for us it can easily accommodate up to four. The check-in instructions were very easy to follow and we had no issues at all. Honestly, we didn’t even feel like leaving the apartment… we loved it so much.
