I booked for 5 days but ended up staying two weeks. The staff was amazing and so much fun. I initially chose the place for it's location. It's definitely a little far but I thought it was worth it for the peace, quiet, the desert sand dunes, and the STARS. Can't overstate the stars. If you love to stargaze, just book this place because the night sky there is unbeatable. Theres also a giant sand dune on the campsite that you can climb for amazing views of the desert. And they have puppies!!!

The host is so welcoming and accommodating and efficiently arranged any tours or transport we needed - he always selected great, trust worthy drivers. In fact, he even helped when we left our phone in a taxi. Thank you so much!! Ahmed really goes above and beyond for his guests, anything you need he’ll help! The rooms have a rustic feel, I feel the cold and so would have appreciated warmer bedding in the winter. Although once I asked for more blankets we were provided with them immediately! If you are looking for a peaceful and authentic homely experience- sleep in siwa is for you!
