Ahmed was so communicative and even dropped us at our new place the night after (we moved as he was fully booked). Rooftop was stunning, and the apartment was perfectly furnished. Easily the nicest place we’ve stayed in Luxor.

In February we stayed here for 5 days in the beautiful Blue Nile House in a apartment: spacious, clean, with three balconies and great views and the river Nile. Our host, Sayed, and his team are very kind and most helpful. The daily breakfast under the beach umbrella near the swimming pool was something to look forward to every morning. For dinner there was a varied menu of delicious Egyptian meals to choose from. And in a 10 mins walk there is this Restaurant with ferry ride name 'Aladdin guarantees a peaceful and quiet atmosphere and amazing chicken and fish (grilled) in a combo of rice and chapati. There are several possibilities to visit the ancient Egyptians monuments. Sayed can arrange for taxis and there are lots of tuktuks on the road in the village to visit the Valley of the Kings, the Queens temples and tombs on the West Bank. Our driver (Mr. Hassan) was having ample of knowledge for the site seeing. Our balloon ride early in the sunrise, 5 o'clock something cannot be missed!!! Go for it, its amazing. We highly recommend Blue Nile House for it is the perfect place to stay on the West Bank of Luxor. Thank you Sayed, Hassan and the entire Team for these wonderful hospitality. The property itself is beautiful and very well designed. The layout of the pool, garden, outdoor seating, and eating area is awesome. There is a well-balanced amount of greenery with that of the decor around the outside area. The area is even more enjoyable in the evenings, with proper lighting to enhance the beauty of the property. It was great being treated to after dinner hot tea with mint picked fresh from the herbal garden near the pool. Inside the very spacious apartment are all the comforts of home. A huge balcony overlooks the pool, and the rooftop seating areas are a great place to watch the sunset while having some tea. The food services were fantastic with plenty to eat and great tasting local dishes. A couple of Mom and Pop restaurants are within walking distance, but you can also get it delivered. Last and certainly not least, the people at Casa Loka are fantastic. The owner-manager, his son, and the staff went out of their way to make the guests feel like family. They took care of any whim and did so with a smile. I can't say enough about how kind, respectful, helpful, and appreciative of their clients, the staff show towards me as well as the other guests. They truly made ghe stay absolutely amazing. Do I recommend this place? And would I go back? Absolutely!!

The room is big with high ceilings and very clean and nice. The villa has a very beautiful and nice garden where you can enjoy a big and sumptuous breakfast in the morning. Owner is very friendly and helpful and can organize hot air balloon and private tour in a very reasonable price. When I asked for a hairdryer to use, owner specially bought one for my use as they didn't have a hairdryer in the villa! Highly recommend to stay here when visiting Luxor.
