Also for some reason this town is not affected by the power cuts so 24 hours of electricity. I highly recommend.

The apartment was very well equipped. Hot water, wifi &’kitchen were great. Many restaurants in Old Town close by sunset, so preparing meals was a good option. There’s also a washing machine. The hosts were incredible. They met us & gave us a detailed directory to Quito that was very helpful. The apartment has 3 bedrooms. There’s a lot of attention to detail - guidebooks are available in Spanish, English & German. Maps &’other resources. The kitchen is complete - pots, pans, full fridge, etc. I can’t imagine a better home base for exploring the city!

You will feel so welcomed by the family who owns the hostel - they are so kind and gracious and make you feel so comfortable and at home. The vegetarian meals were huge and delicious and there was banana bread available all day as well as coffee and tea. I cannot say enough about how wonderful our stay was here. The cat Theresa is so friendly and the sweetest little boy lives here!!

You feel so at home and the owners will do everything to make your stay comfortable, from ordering taxis to giving tourist advice and local restaurant recommendations. Mostly, just the warm smile you’re met with every day makes the difference! <3 10/10 recommend staying here. The highlight might be the super spacious and comfortable beds. They feel like luxury at a backpacker price!

The room was very clean and comfortable. I was surprised that there was no water in the fridge, but there was a water dispenser in the hallway that we could use. I had to leave early for the airport, and the receptionist kindly booked a taxi for me. It cost around 11 USD and was very helpful.
