The incredibly warm welcome of smiles and beautiful hospitality, along with a happy dog and cat, it felt like we were stepping into a home. It was the best and calmest place with A variety of teas, boiling water, drinking water, coffee, homemade cookies and banana bread upon arrival with the fire lit for us to get all cosy after our walk along the trail. Super friendly vibes, community dinner was exceptional and the vegan option was the best I’ve had in Ecuador. The views over the valley are beautiful and clear sky’s meant for tea under the stars in the evening :)

The apartment is a great place to stay for anyone doing the Quilotoa walk or just visiting Isinlivi, and includes a kitchen and private bathroom. Rosita also showed us her cuy and chicken farm and even took us on a walk around the town. Easy to get cheap lunch box for the next days walk from a nearby shop for $3.5 or $1 for just a sandwich. The Italian restaurant up the road is perfect for dinner and affordable. We just made our own oats for breakfast.

We were watching the stars and shooting stars from the very comfortable bed. Although it was cold outside, the blankets and heater keep you warm. The jacuzzi was nice as well.
