Great place for a weekend in Tarrafal: - perfect location, only a few min walk to the beaches and the beautiful promenade by the sea - amazing host - Alcino was so helpful, proactive, always in touch - comfortable bed, big shower - great view from the terrace - on mountains ( at night you also can hear the ocean ) - strong and stable wi-fi connection - big shared kitchen and living room we enjoyed every moment here!

Well, where to start from? The place is simply excellent! It's one of the places that you would want to visit again in your life, not just to be in a city/town but also to stay in that exact same place. The room and the place in general was spotless clean, everything looked very new and fresh and it was decorated wonderfully, everyday the staff left small gifts which was a very nice detail. The breakfast was delicious, it's cooked literally next door and brought to the breakfast area, hot&fresh, and it varied from day to day, which was also very nice. Everyone who works at the hotel is wonderful, very helpful and very kind, always greeting you with a genuine smile and making you feel welcome. It's located about 10 minutes of walking distance from the beach, and 6-7 minutes from very nice restaurants. Tarrafal in itself is a beautiful place, but this place I think has made it even more special for me. Even though staying there was so nice and special, departing was equally difficult and I hope to return to this place one day in the future. Thank you very much!

The Appartment is super clean. Communication with the hosts was excellent and they are really nice. The beach is a ten minute walk away, the supermarket 3min. There is a really good restaurant for breakfast and lunch right around the corner. We highly recommend this place if you are starting your Kab Verde Vacation at Praia.

Authentic village life at its best! Tugged away from the rest of the world, Ja opened a room of her ancestor's home to guests who would like to experience what it's like to live in Cape Verdian raw country side - which includes being offline, taking cold showers with a bucket and a mug, sleeping in pin drop silence (apart from the roosters), walking in the steep hills, etc. One can go with a shared taxi until the roundabout of Sao Domingos. From there, a local can come and pick you up for 300 ESC, or you can walk (it's absolutely safe, the locals are friendly and helpful, location on the map is accurate). They can also drop you to the airport for 1500 ESC, and it just takes 30mins to reach. Ja knows how to cook for vegetarians, too. She is a witty and interesting host to talk to. I am still amazed at the purity and simplicity of this place, and hope to be back one day.

The appartment has everything you need to stay there. The beds were comfortable and rooms had plenty of space. The kitchen and living room are adorable. It's all beautifully decorated. Highly recommend staying there!

Very beautiful property, with everything we needed as a family with a 1 year old and a 4 year old we especially enjoyed the fact that there was a play room on the patio. The gym was also very much appreciated! The house was clean and had enough room to accommodate 2 families !
