A recently renovated property, Branco Suites - Rooms & Holiday Apartments is located in Santa Maria near Praia de Santa Maria, Praia António Sousa and Ponta da Fragata Beach. Everything was perfect! The apartment was great, in a quiet area and close to the pedestrian street and the beach. The kitchen had everything you needed in case you wanted to cook anything, big balcony, comfortable mattress, clean bathroom. Dali and Zuela are absolutely amazing, they arranged a taxi from us from the airport so everything went smooth. They are always there to help you with whatever you need - be it the accommodation, booking trips for you, or telling you how to find your way around the island. On top of that, when my husband got (slightly) bitten by a dog, Dali went above and beyond to find us a clinic that was open and we are grateful for that! She even helped us with other stuff after we moved to another hotel, which wasn’t her job anymore, but being the nice person that she is, she did that too. Our only regret is that we didn’t spend the whole holiday there!

This beachfront property offers access to a patio. The country house also offers facilities for disabled guests. Nice large room on the edge of town away from large resorts. Great ceiling fan (no AC) which had a consistent white noise that blocked out all noise, for a quiet great night of sleep. Well planned room with plenty of practically placed shelves and hooks to put items. The 20 euro airport pickup for our 1am checkin went smoothly. 5min walk from a small grocery and the water where you can see a great sunset. Great communication with host on WhatsApp.

The accommodation provides airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. What stood out was the extremely good service - late arrival by plane was accommodated with taxi pickup at the airport who could give us the keys to the property, then the manager stayed in contact with us on whatsapp until 1am and from 5am to inform us about the latest ferry schedule for the 7am ferry, all proactively without us asking for this, which allowed my family to sleep 1h longer in a very short night. Rooms and location are excellent value for money as well.

The apartment was clean, modern and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Bed was comfy (even went and bought us a duvet as I can’t sleep without one :) The shower was great, it was in a great position but also quiet, the rooftop pool is amazing and the staff are great 👍 Walking distance to lovely sandy beach and all the shops and restaurants. Highly recommended.

The apartment has a bottle of water, towels, very comfortable matress, beach towels(!), all necessary kitchen utensils, and a new air conditioner. The apartment has good windows that block out most of the street noise, you just need to close them. The transfer from and to the airport was excellent and I also had a private tour of the island with the driver Jaime..

The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. Had a perfect stay. The host Zuela met us in person and shared some tips about the surrounding area. The apartment was spacious and had everything we could need (kitchen, fridge, washing machine, microwave, safe, ...). The building has extra security on the ground floor. The beach was very close (less than 10 minutes by walking). Getting to the center of Santa Maria was easy too (15-20 minutes by walking).
