She answered all my questions very quickly and provided lots of information. They arranged the shuttle service for us as well as a guide to climb up the volcano. João himself is a guide and you can book him. Obviously the location is perfect and you have a beautiful view of the volcano right from the room. Make sure to eat at Isabella's next door, her food is delicious and she was such a warm and wonderful person. All in all it was a wonderful experience!

Boasting a terrace and views of sea, Cruzeiro Guest House is a recently renovated guest house situated in São Filipe, a few steps from Sao Filipe Beach. Located on the beachfront, this property has a bar and a shared lounge. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available. This was probably our favorite stay in our trip; the ocean view we had from our room and from the breakfast terrace was simply breathtaking, we were sad we only stayed one night. Breakfast was abundant and tasty, buffet-style with some cape verdian dishes, such as cuscus. The room was clean, spacious, as well as the bathroom. The staff was also very friendly with us and someone could also speak some English. They helped us calling a taxi when we discovered our flight was anticipated and we risked losing it.
