If you are looking for an authentic stay in Sal Rei and you are interested in experiencing Boa Vista's lifestyle, I highly recommend staying in Ka-Bela. The owners are the sweetest people who will do their best to make their guests happy. They live in the same building so check in is very easy. They were always there to answer any of my questions. The apartment had all I needed. It was clean and quiet. It's located close to the city centre (5 min walking distance) and just around the corner from Praia de Cabral - a beautiful natural beach. The hosts were wonderfully kind and assistive. Tina was a guide to the island, organized anything we only mentioned and she is a really nice person. Apartment is spacious and comfortable and it was perfectly clean. There is no airconditioning, but windows provided sufficient airflow (with insect nets) to feel very comfortable. WiFi was working very good (but electrical power may be unstable). Bathroom nice, shower cabin much better than average.
