Truly an amazing place. I spent a long time looking for the right stay around Minca, and I’m really glad I chose La Casa Del Mono. Our stay was fantastic - beautiful, charming, and surprisingly mosquito-free thanks to the well-designed mosquito nets all around the house. We did see a few tiny ants, but nothing out of the ordinary and definitely not bothersome. The location is excellent: close to hiking trails, restaurants, and Minca itself. It’s easy to access (not on some difficult off-road path!), yet still feels private, peaceful, and cozy. We heard some distant music one evening, but it didn’t last long. The real soundtrack was the monkeys in the morning -once we even saw them walking through the trees nearby! The host was super friendly, helpful, and very communicative. A solid 5-star stay.

We stayed in a beautiful cabin, with lots of space, a fan, and a good mosquito net. The owners are extremely sweet. The owners wife went out to buy food to cook for us in the evening, and the included breakfast was great. The cabins are just a 10 minute walk from the Tayrona park main entrance. It was a great place to rest after two days in the park.
