I had an absolute blast staying at Wallys, which contributed to creating a truly memorable experience for my trip on top of the sightseeings. - Amazing hospitality. While there are plenty of Zhangjiajie itineraries online, they can't beat the sharing from a local like Wally from routes to avoid crowds and insider hikes. He handdrew a very detailed 2day route map with many options to cater to my needs. Wally was also super helpful attending to all my questions and arranging for ticket purchases (with discount). Also i learnt a lot from the lovely chat abt his experience growing up in the area and managing the hostel. - Convenient location, less than 5mins walk to main gate, accessible to all shops and restaurants. - Affordable price and truly value for money (in no way will your experience be compromised).

The nearest airport is Zhangjiajie Hehua International Airport, 36 km from the guest house. The hotel facilities  were nice. It has a clean, nice swimming pool, the staff were amazing guys. The location was also nice. One of the Zhangjiaje national park's entrances is in just a 3-minute walk.  They serve for the breakfast rice  noodle soup, which is Hunan's best dish, and also good coffee and many more.  View from the hotel room was spectacular. You can see the beauty of the Zhangjiaje mountains right from the hotel room terrace. The double deluxe room has a nice terrace and also has a bath on it.  The Main thing is that Tim, the hotel manager, is the almost only one who speaks English in the region, and he managed everything for guests. If you need help of booking national park's sightseeing tickets, taxi or other things he's always willing to help. The other hotel guys were also helpful, polite, nice guys. Room was comfortable, room facilities also were very good. Highly recommend to stay at this hotel.

Zhangjiajie Hehua Airport is 40 km away. This is a highly highly recommended Lodge located in a genuine quiet village. The beds are extremely comfortable; the home-made breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The lodge is very close to the west gate of the National Park. The mid-night corks' crows reminded you of the country-side life style. However, what makes the place so charming and impressive is the people. The Lodge owner Lucas and his partner Xiao Xie and their entire family, made our trip a wonderful experience. They provided very informative/detailed travel guidance as well as pick-up/drop-off services which made our daily excursions extremely convenient and pleasant. They welcomed us at the front yard at the time we come back which made us feel like returning home. They become part of the unforgettable memories of our cherished family gathering at Zhangjiajie!

The property is inside the National forest Park and on top of the Avatar mountain, where is super easy to reach Yuanjiajie,Avatar Hallehujah Mountain,Yangjiajie ,Tianzi Mountain and Secretes Spots within the Park etc .The property will invite you to visit the sunrise and sunset when the weather is available. This place is a gem, inside of the Park and with easy access to all scenic areas. Just beside a river, you sleep with the calming water sound. I has wonderful moments with all the staffs, and had the best coffee and Jasmine coffee ever! Hospitality and generously ate the best words to describe the lovely experience. Already recommended to friends and hope to return in the future. Thank you for all!

The property has garden and inner courtyard views, and is 70 metres from Zixia Taoist Temple. The homestay features a hot tub and a 24-hour front desk. We checked into the wrong room, but the staff were willing and helpful to exceed our needs, sorting us out. They also checked with us in advance and helped us book the tickets for the Tiammenshan and the Forest park. They also allowed us to check out later. Plus, the hotel was so beautiful and we would love to visit again.

Тhis is one of the best hotels I've been to! For this price we got a big apartment consisting of two rooms, a small dining room and a beautiful clean bathroom. Everything was modern and clean (what is not oft in China!). It is possible to wash and dry your clothes at the hotel. The hotel located 15 minutes from the entrance to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and near the main street with cafes, markets and shops. But the most important thing is the staff! An excellent girl immediately wrote out a plan for us for 3 days, with all the routes and places to visit! She gave us a map and noted everything on it, helped us buy all the necessary tickets, was always in touch and even changed money at the bank so that we didn’t waste time on it! It was just a delight!
