Although we missed breakfast for the first two days due to early tours, the staff went above and beyond by arranging packed lunches for us. They even proactively reached out via WhatsApp, which was such a thoughtful touch. I’ve honestly never experienced such excellent communication from a hotel before. The staff are always smiling, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help. After long days of exploring, it was the perfect place to relax and recharge. The water refill station is a great added bonus, and their restaurant, ROOTS, offers some truly delicious menu options. If you’re too tired to head out for a meal, you can simply step outside your room and enjoy amazing food and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

The best place to go if you are traveling solo and without any planning, they have tours everyday for the most touristic scenes and provide dinner every night for the most accessible price so people can hangout and make friends. It is also located near the main street (Caracoles) and has a lot of restaurants, cambio exchange and small supermarkets nearby. It was my best experience in Atacama!

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The luxury tent features family rooms. Absolutely HUGE tents - plenty of space for everything you need. It's also only a short walk to the main part of the town (10-15 minutes) - which works out pretty well as it's very easy to park. Check-in was really smooth and the hosts were very accomodating. Tents also had a heater and AC so despite the extreme elements, you don't really feel it in the tents. Just a FYI it is essentially in someone's backyard, so it's not like it's very remote/out in nature, but that wasn't an issue for us.

The one woman who worked there was constantly working hard, always keeping the dishes and toilets spotless, and she was friendly throughout our visit. She also made fantastic eggs every morning, and the overall breakfast selection was impressive. The fresh milk was a lovely touch that made breakfast feel even more homely. The room itself was clean and comfortable, and everything felt well looked after. WiFi worked very well.

There is full kitchen, big bathroom with hot water, nice yard, good view of stars and mountains, private indoor parking, good breakfast. Basically I will stay there if I come back and you SHOULD too.

Communication was excellent. We used Whatsapp because my Spanish is not good. The room and rest of the hostal was well kept and clean. We really enjoyed our stay, and we liked it was a short walk from the central roads. We are also very grateful that we were able to leave a suitcase behind when we realized our multi day tour to Uyuni would not let us take both suitcases. Highly recommend Hostal Qachi Chentura.
