It was a real pleasure to stay here. Comfortable bed, spacious living room, coffee machine, washing machine. Very convenient location, we enjoyed walking to the old town. There are two supermarkets and a bakery nearby. They also prepared parking permits for our car, and we were able to park just 2 minutes from the house. Many thanks to the host of the apartment.

Nicely decorated appartment, fully equiped and very clean. Comfortable bed and cosy bathroom. It had all we needed including coffee / boiler. Location is perfect, 5 mins from the lake and tram. Self check-in and out was really easy. Staff were very helpful and welcoming via messages throughout our stay and responded very fast to any questions. It really exceeded our expectations.

The breakfast offered good variety, including a delicious salad as well as traditional cheeses and hearty breads. Heated bathroom floor, cozy on our rainy days. Built in 1430, it has been wonderfully renovated. Trudy speaks with a slight Pennsylvania accent, in other words, English can be the language of communication. We were near tram lines, restaurants and coffee shops. Use Trudi’s instructions; Google assumes pedestrians want to walk past interesting shops rather than getting there directly with luggage.

This oasis in the middle of Winterthur was completely delightful, beatiful property with historical significance and within walking distance from train and buses. Close to the historic Old Town of Winterthur. Our hosts were wonderful, lots of knowledge of the area and very willing to share their knowldge if requested. Breakfast was great, all organic, and lots of room to dine. Added bonus; we stayed here at the end of our trip and it was just a short train ride from Zurich Airport for our return flight.
