What a great place! Next level apartments. Feels like home. Fully equipped rooms, even a sauna in the bathroom, breakfast service on request, games to play (and drinks from the bar if you like) in the reception area, washing machine and dryer if needed, charger for electric car. It was really great. The accomodation is very well thought through in details, and also: nicely designed information booklets with activities (you can find that on the website, looks really nice!), hiking information booklets in the apartment upon arrival. All in all a great stay, very close to the beautiful lake and closely cable cars. We took the Rofan one in Maurach (short drive) and had a great time up in the mountains. Panoramic views to dream of! And of course the hiking route along the Achensee, recommended and also good available with a dog. We will definitely come back if we go to the Achensee again!

The space was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully arranged — perfect for relaxing as a family. The view was lovely, and everything felt peaceful and welcoming. Martina was an exceptional host — kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond. She even gifted my wife a delicious homemade strawberry jam, which was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. It made us feel truly cared for. We had a great time with my wife and our three children. Everything was smooth from start to finish, and we made beautiful memories. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and charming getaway.

Located in Maurach and only 42 km from Ambras Castle, Haus Zillertal am Achensee provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. With lake views, this accommodation offers a balcony. The homestay has ski storage space. perfect location with unbelievable views of Lake Archensee. There was a lovely terrace, great shower and because we stayed for a week we had access to the kitchen which was an unexpected surprise. Carolina was a wonderful host, super helpful and an all-round welcoming committee who helped us get our bearings in Achensee. she advised about supermarkets, busses, boat tours, hiking trails etc. she is a one woman information bureau.

Excellent location, next to cross-country ski tracks (Hundelopie). Cross-country ski stadium with another 45+km of cross-country ski tracks is only few minutes away from the house. Rooms are very comfortable, owners are always around and ready to help guests with any requests. There is a shared fridge available for guests, also guests could use shared kitchen facilities if theRe will be such a need. All rooms are having slightly different layout and I have tried 2 different rooms during my 2-weeks stay. One of the rooms is featuring a 'loft' design, it's a 2 level room with a sitting area and a bedroom on the second level. Internet connection was fast and stable. Ski-lovers will enjoy the storage room where they can leave skis and dry their ski-boots after workout. I have not tried breakfast, but I am sure it's wonderful as everything in Haus Kirchmaier. Looking forward coming back togther with my family.
