Very comfortable room and bed, loved the open air bathroom. The home cooking was very nice. Yennie and her family are great! Home cooked meals were tasty. Yennie organized our tour, booked the Zen Spa (also very nice), and transport to HCMC. And helped to get an amazing birthday cake for my husband!

We had the most amazing Homestay with this family. It was so nice to meet and talk to such a close knit and welcoming family. The rooms were really nice and the bathrooms were clean and even had hot water. The scenery is gorgeous - you can relax in hammocks over looking the rivers! The host cooked the most incredible dinner for us (honestly one of the best meals we’ve had in our 3 weeks in Vietnam!) and for what she served it was very good value for money - shrimp cakes, soup, fresh vegetables with beef, the most delicious fish, and fruit for dessert! The host provides bikes for you to explore the island free of charge and gives you very good tips on the routes to take. She was also incredibly helpful, giving us information on how to get from Can Tho to her, and booking the bus from her to Ho Chi Min for us. The breakfast was very good too. We really hope to be back one day - to the most gorgeous island and an even better Homestay.

Phuong and her familiy were exeptional hosts, very friendly and attentive. They organized activities like a boat tour for us. The homestay has a really pretty garden. We would like to thank the homestay for the nice experience.

The guesthouse was wonderful! Green areas everywhere, great view from their platform. Staff was very kind and friendly. They organised a nice tour in Mekong’s river for us.

I enjoyed my stay at Phuong Thao Homestay and on the beautiful island An Binh so much that I extended it to over 2 weeks!  The homestay manager, his wife and sister - who speak very good English - together with the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The homestay is located about 3 km from the ferry to Vinh Long (10 minutes by bike). Nestled within a spacious, beautifully planted garden with lots of hammocks where you can unwind. My room (14) was in a "stone house" and I felt very comfortable in it - it was very quiet there.  Every morning, I was looking forward to the fantastic breakfast - in addition to the daily omelette with bread, you get a plate with different fruits. But the very best part - the different mouthwatering sweets 😋 every day. And to top it all, I could enjoy a swim in the pool surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the lodge that belongs to the homestay. Together, it was a wonderful start to every day :) The island An Binh is a scenic paradise, and exploring it by bike from the homestay was an adventure in itself. Short ferry trips to neighbouring islands and towns add to the charm of this wonderful location. I had a truly memorable time on the island and at this homestay. Upon my next visit, I will undoubtedly choose Phuong Thao Homestay again.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights with our son and his girlfriend. The meals were very good, the big elephant ear fish was amazing. A very rural, pretty and calm escape with free bicycles to use. We took the boat tour which we thought was good value. While there was no English guide we saw a working pottery, local sweets being made, local market and a ride on a small boat through the canal.

The hotel was exceptional. The 3 bedroom appartment was great with more than enough room. There were 3 bathrooms with showers and each room had an AC in addition to the kitchen and sitting area.
