The location was perfect. Really close to the old town, but across the bridge. Bars and restaurants within easy reach but quieter and not so busy. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Made us feel at home. We had a balcony with a view of the river. Rooms cleaned every day. Fantastic breakfast . So relaxing.

It only takes around 1 km to the center with free bicycles available in the villa but my mom can’t ride so we took taxi with a cheap price because it’s very closed to places. The room is clean and cozy. The air conditioner in my room wasn’t working at the beginning but the host immediately changed a new room for me. Many thanks to the couple managing the villa. Will be back.

We had an amazing stay at Barbados Cherry. We were here for my friends birthday and the staff set up a birthday banner and some rose petals on the bed. They also offered to organise a cake. Jenny at the reception was super friendly and had so many great suggestions for activities and food and drink. The hotel was the perfect distance between the main old town and the beach and from our room we didn’t hear any traffic or noise. They also have great bikes which you can borrow for free to take into town or the beach and it’s a nice easy ride. The pool was lovely and had lights so you can swim at night. Because it’s undercover the water was nice and cool and refreshing unlike some other pools we’ve experienced. They also let us check in early after we arrived on our night bus which was really lovely.

We enjoyed everything about our stay here, if I could give more then 10 stars I would. Susan & her family was so lovely and welcoming by far the best place I have stayed in Vietnam. I will be recommending it to my friends who are coming next month and I hope to see them again in the near future. Very emotional upon leaving as we did not want to go. Very clean and comfortable accommodation, food was lovely, free teas and coffee all day. They also recommended best places to go whilst we were there and the food was amazing!
