Our time at SunSweetHouse was amazing! We enjoyed so many nice surprises during our stay! The breakfast buffet and the hot pot dinner menu were remarkably delicious and thoughtfully put together. Everything was very clean, modern facilities and lovely decorated. You could tell that the owners who were working there everyday, enjoy putting extra effort in details and hospitality! All in all we were big fans of the calm and misty atmosphere of the hotel and its area, that we had such a peaceful and relaxing stay after hiking and sightseeing!

This was a family trip, we booked three rooms, all of them were spacious. It was quite cold in Alishan, but the hot water supply was very good. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the white Shiba Inu was in heat and had been isolated and taken down the mountain, so we only saw the other two dogs. The staff sister recommended us to go up to see the sunset, but unfortunately, due to the haze, we didn't have a clear view. However, the location of this homestay is quite good, and our room had a view of the sunrise. Overall, we were very satisfied.

Everything is was exceptionally nice. The room is very very comfortable, the property is beautiful and magical with all kinds of fairy lights and cute decorations. The owner and host is thoughtful and kind and very service oriented. The room feels luxurious because the owner clearly thought of all the little details that make a stay not just good, but great. The location on the mountain is beautiful.

My friend and I stayed here for one night and had an amazing experience! Our room was so comfortable, and the property is located in a beautiful nook of Alishan. The owner recommended an amazing dinner place a 10-minute downhill walk away, and even picked us up from dinner so that we wouldn’t have to walk up the incline. He also cooked us a delicious breakfast, including vegetables from his own garden! Unfortunately, it rained the night we were there, so we weren’t able to do the night walk. My only regret is that we didn’t plan to stay for longer!

The owners welcome travellers from the heart and take great care to ensure that you enjoy your stay in Xiding. Dietary needs are considered for a delicious breakfast. The room is spacious and bed is comfortable. Location next to the bus stop with a 24 hr convenience store 100 metres away. The sunrise viewpoint is just down the road while Eryanping is a 40 minute walk. The owners grow and sell tea and it’s great to sit around and have a chat over tea.

We wake up in the morning to wait for the sunrise, boss of the hotel also join us for the sunrise and also talk us some of his story for climbing up to hill when he was younger age. It was very clean and well maintained. The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

Beautiful place with amazing vistas of mountains and tea farms. It's centrally located so easy to explore the main Alishan recreation area and the north and south corridors. We enjoyed driving the mountain roads and exploring aboriginal villages. The host, Leon, speaks excellent English. He was accommodating and welcoming. Our room was in the newer building with incredible views from the balcony - especially at sunrise. Buffet breakfast served in an adjoining restaurant (also with panoramic views) was good. This place is a gem indeed!

Really nice accommodation in a calm and beautiful village. It is next to a 7/24 convenience store and close to the public bus stop. The spectacular Eryanping & Tea Mist trails within a walking distance. The staff is friendly, but only the young man speaks English.

Its location right outside their village bus stop makes it very convenient for first time travellers to find. The hosts were very welcoming and forthright in providing advice and suggestions on touring around Alishan. Breakfast was the most delicious meal I had.

The staff were very helpful and friendly (they booked me a table at the local hotpot restaurant both nights) and the dogs they have are lovely. The hotel is very easy to reach by bus as the 7329 stops in Xiding village and then it’s only a 5 minute stroll up a side road. The Eryanping trail is within 30mins walk and they provide a simple map to help you reach it, I went up there for the sunrise and it was beautiful. The room was clean and breakfast in the garden each morning was wonderful, with a breathtaking view of the mountains.
