Loved every minute of our stay here. We booked this for 4 nights for a 40th birthday. The staff had decorated the room with happy birthday decorations and flowers. The room itself was so beautiful. The decking area was gorgeous to sit and relax on, and you could hear the waves behind the trees. The shower room was massive.. it felt very luxurious. Very comfortable beds.. The resort itself its also stunning. The ladies on reception were super helpful and friendly. We asked to be picked up from the previous hotel and also dropped to our next hotel in koh lanta which was done at no extra cost. Breakfast was great with large selection. Many couples and also families here. The resort is spacious enough to feel some privacy. It felt special and the perfect stay in koh lanta. Also have a coffee shop onsite with great coffee.. We tried to extend our stay but was fully booked so I recommend booking for longer than you may think. Perfect place to relax, we really did not want to leave our little slice of paradise. Loved it. Thank you

Staying at the Palm Garden Bungalows was a magical experience. Situated in a beautiful garden, we were surrounded by butterflies, flowers and birdsong. The bamboo bungalows are so comfortable and Mike has added great ensuite bathrooms, good mosquito nets, fridge, fan and plates, cups, kettle and cutlery, making it a true glamping time. We hired nearly new scooters from him, which are needed to explore the island and we loved the location. We slept with the shutters open every night and had no unpleasant insect encounters. The frogs singing into the evening were amazing. Truly our favourite accommodation in Thailand!

Great location for exploring old town. Very friendly owners that go above and beyond to help out with bookings, taxis, laundry, scooter hire, etc. Good english too! The photos do not do the room justice (the owner should clarify that you get sea view from the room and it includes a self contained kitchen, lounge and private balcony). It is all shown in the photos on booking.com, but it is not clear that you get everything as part of the "double room with sea view and balcony," and not just the house as a whole. Place is newly refurbished with great a/c, strong wifi, comfy bed, and a large fridge. Awesome view.

This accommodation is truly a hidden gem nestled along Khlong Nin Beach. With only five tiny houses available for rent, the experience was wonderfully private. Within the cozy 20 square meters of space, you'll find everything we needed—a bed overlooking the sea, a equipped kitchen, a bathroom, a small terrace, and a peaceful air conditioning unit. Additionally, kayaks and paddle boards are provided for extra enjoyment. The host Paul was incredibly hospitable and seemed to anticipate our needs almost telepathically. Oh, and I almost forgot the highlight: the best seats to witness the breathtaking sunset.

My 2 weeks stay in Cashewnut Tree Bungalows I recently stayed for 2 weeks at the family house in Cashewnut Tree Bungalows and had a very relaxing time. The owners are incredibly friendly and always willing to help with anything I needed. They offer a wide range of services, including scooter rentals, boat trips, elephant rides in the rainforest, various minivan or ferry connections to other cities or airports, diving trips, and numerous local attractions with plenty of recommendations. The resort also provides laundry services at a very reasonable price. The resort area itself is very peaceful, which helped me relax completely. It is centrally located in the southern part of Koh Lanta, near many restaurants, souvenir shops, 7-Eleven store, bars, and beautiful beaches. You can easily visit each of the beaches by scooter, which is very convenient. The location is relatively close to the national park and a waterfall, both of which are worth visiting. During my stay, I explored the entire island and found that the southern part is much more peaceful than the northern part. The resort provides internet access, but in the family house where I stayed, the connection was the weakest among all the bungalows. The speed was around 7 Mbps download and 5 Mbps upload. Sometimes, I had to use my mobile internet for work. However, for regular internet use, the provided connection should be sufficient, with speeds up to 310 Mbps claimed by the owners in the other bungalows. In summary, Cashewnut Resort is very well organized, and the owners are very helpful. During my stay, I had an issue with my scooter, and the owners immediately assisted me by facilitating communication with the local Thai people, which was a great help. I could always count on their support. If I return to Koh Lanta, I will definitely visit Cashewnut Tree Bungalows again.

We liked Everything! Our stay at Ake guesthouse was perfect! The room was comfy, spacious and clean. There is a terrace with a beautiful view. It's a 15 minute walk from the main shops and restaurants in a calm and nice area. There are also free bicycles which is very convenient. But most of all, Ake, the owner is incredibly nice! He helped us with everything we needed from the pick up on our arrival to helping us with our departure. He also gave us some rides when it was raining. He was always asking to know if we'd need help, a ride or anything else. He made us taste local fruits. Finally we came back to his place several times during our stay in Koh Lanta. We definitely recommend it!

Room cleaned regularly to a good standard. Large rooms. Location ideal for good restaurants and the beach but still in a quiet location. We had an early pick up in the morning and Libo had made sandwiches for our breakfast to have on the boat which was very kind. We will definitely come back and stay again.
