The owner is super very friendly and helpful. The huts are comfy and very clean! There is enough space for all of your belongings. Really nice breakfast - you can choose from different meals & there are fruits & sweets. Restaurants and super markets are in walking distance.

The host was extremely hospitable and helpful, taking us to the nearest 7-Eleven for some essential groceries as soon as we arrived.. He also provided much assistance in helping us plan our activities for our stay and acting as a local guide driving us to see the sunset from the nearest mountain and taking us to the elephant sanctuary located 40 minutes south of Chiang Dao. In the evening our gracious host made a vegetarian BBQ with local vegetables at a very nice and cozy campfire in the guest house accompanied by warm ginger tea. This was an amazing chance to get to know the other guests and have friendly and interesting conversations. The location is majestic, very beautiful and quiet, located under the mountain and surrounded by a small field of local crops (chillies, bananas and more). At night many stars can be seen. The room has everything one can think of. The host is very detail oriented and cares about the guests comfort. There's a shaded pagoda overviewing the mountain perfect for reading and relaxing. There's a fully equipped outside kitchen with a microwave as well. The bathroom and bedroom also have a great view. Breakfasts were sensational with delicious fruits and a coffee machine. The host also has a scooter for rent and there's so much beautiful nature around. Also the night market was amazing

I was made to feel at home here. I recommend it very highly. It is an authentic homestay experience. The place is located on a nice property out of town, very close to the hot springs. Tong and her mother are superb hosts. Tong will go out of her way to offer any help she can, often drive guests to places they need to go. She is also a superb cook, offering a mix of local and Shan style food. We ate so much fresh produce. Such a healthy experience. There are two roof top spaces where you can hang out. One has an excellent view of the sky. The dorm space is very large with two toilets and two showers. If you want a real homestay experience, you must visit.

We loved staying at Ashi! The location is great. Walking distance to the cave, some temples, hot springs, and scooter rentals. The owners are so sweet, helpful, and so talented. They make many of the craft sodas and beers. Their food is also delicious and very good quality. They accommodate vegan & vegetarian. We had the best time here and would have stayed longer if we had more time.

Bougain Villas have very large stylish, comfortable rooms set in absolutely breathtaking location in the north of the town. Surrounded by fields with horses and cows, and with a stunning view of the mountain it’s truly a paradise. The family run business takes great care in personal customer service. Even bringing paracetamol and congee to my wife who was having a fever. The pool is great for lengths and the adjoining restaurant can deliver to the room and is very good. Great value for money.

Idyllic peaceful setting and a wonderfully comfortable, spacious and well equipped bungalow. On seeing this we immediately extended our planned visit by an extra 3 days. With delicious, varied and filling breakfasts and dinners (with beer) included in the price Wes Village allowed us to relax completely. The staff led by Soi were ever friendly, helpful and efficient. Scooter hire also available to explore Chiang Dao.

The location is exactly what I wanted, remote enough but still close to the town. Able to hit the hot springs and hike within a 10-minute drive or 20-minute walk. Amazing authentic Thai breakfast with fresh papaya, banana & dragon Fruit! Thong was a great host and always had fun activities planned like heading to the local market or heading into the village for dinner & dancing.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Bougain Villas so much, we booked an extra night! The room was beautiful with stunning views. The pool was lovely and excellent location. The owner and his dad made sure we had anything we needed for a relaxing stay.

Nice guesthouses around a small pond in a village. A bit far from downtown Chiang Dao but not too far. Atmosphere very nice and a great place to relax. We enjoyed "coming home" Community area great, bungalows good, everything worked, also that little balcony is a plus.
