This was our second time to live in Altea Hostal. We love it a lot ! The breakfast was delicious and the room is so clean. All of the host and the staff were very nice!

I had a fantastic stay here. This place is a hidden gem in Santa Ana. Yes its a slight walk to the centre, but the peace and privacy was worth it.

Relaxed hostel with a friendly owner and staff. Good kitchen and two good shared bathrooms with showers. Excellent wifi. A good effort was made to keep the kitchen and bathrooms clean. The other areas were sometimes "dusty" as the owner is in the process of moving from his old location to this one and the old house where he now is needs work. Nevertheless, my stay was comfortable and liked how quiet it was at night. It is a quiet residential neighborhood lacking a bit in terms of food choices, but only a several minute walk where the majority of restaurants and supermarkets are located.

Such a fab little hostel! It felt so much like a home. It was a great place to meet friends and go on day trips in and around Santa Ana (Volcano, waterfalls, Ruta de las Flores). Comfortable space, adorable dog, comfy beds, well-equipped kitchen. Fernando the owner was super nice and friendly to us and helped us with all our needs. Motorcycle rental was great too. Definitely in my top 5 hostels!

The common area with the tables is amazing, so beautiful. I slept like a baby here because the dormitories were great (you can open big doors on both sides of the room to let in some air and wind) and every bed as its own fan.
