The Villas were clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked great. The beach was so close to the property and the sand was soft. My family and I had a wonderful time! The staff were really helpful and friendly and we booked a day with a driver to go see the mountains. It was a great value and we enjoyed ourselves immensely. Socrates took great care of us and showed us lots of El Salvador.

Perfect place for a gathering with a group of friends or family. The grill was a bit hidden and had no light at that moment (works in progress), but it didn't deter us from having a blast with my friends and partying by the swimming pool and enjoying the sunrise at the beach! If you don't want to sleep inside, the hammocks are great!

This place was immaculate. So clean and so comfy. The bed was like a proper hotel bed. With a small space, they really managed to include everything in the room in a very clever way. The bathroom was a great size, the kitchen was perfect for cooking brekkie and dinner and there was a TV with netflix. Lights over the bed made it so cosy at night. Garden area isn't finished yet but was still very cute and really clean.

I genuinely loved everything about this place. Being surrounded by Ulisses and his beautiful and kind family instantly gave me a warm feeling of home. I’ve made this booking spontaneously and I didn’t expect much, but in the end it turned out to be one of my favorite hostel experience’s so far! + they have super cute puppies. The hotel is right next to a small beach, mostly sand but some rocks at one end. Rock free sand is nice, waves rolling volcanic rocks against ones feet not so much. Very peaceful during the week, weekends may be different. Rooms are bright and nicely decorated. It's great to sleep with open window to the sound of ocean, no mosquitos arrived to 3rd floor to spoil that but may depend on season. There is restaurant that was not open at the time of visit, so i took advantage and sat there with a perfect ocean view. Numerous seafood restaurants nearby, some supermarkets. Also possible to walk to town for market and pupusas. Kind staff. Resident cat, likes to mind his/her own business. Rooms with balcony might be even better.

Amazing place in the beach house with the beautiful ocean view and sound. Marie is a wonderful host, keeping this place super clean and making the guests feel like at home. Our room was very big, air conditioning working very quiet and good, bathroom spacious and tidy. The kitchen was shared, but as said, everything is clean, and you have hundreds of things for cooking (including oil, seasonings, sauces, etc.). La Libertad is a nice town, without hundreds of backpackers and tourist traps like El Zonte or El Tunco, so sometimes we felt like being on a private beach. El Faro Selectos store is 5 min walk, the local market in the city is 10 min walk away - you can't miss it, plenty of people there. Chickenbus stop 7 min away (direction San Salvador: 59 cents(!)) Plan your airport trip ahead. Uber works but drivers want to bargain in cash at night. We paid at 11 pm 30 usd to get to SAL airport (which is still fine).
