Holiday Rentals in Toubakouta

The hosts were extremly friendly and helpful, organizing a river/birdwatching tour and a trip to Fathala Wild Animal Reserve. The breakfast at a long table was tasty and generous, with interesting talks. We felt at home.

What a wonderful place, the hosts Gilles and Céline are so welcoming and can get so many trips organized, with professional guidance, after so many years living there. Only 4 rooms, so small scale personalized operation, and excellent home cooking! Good interaction with locals in the village.

We really liked the B&B in general but were especially impressed with the excursions that were offered. David gave us a guided boat tour where we visited the small nearby island towns of Sipo and Missirah and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Jenny was also very helpful with the logistics (especially because I don't speak French!) and helping me organise our time in Senegal. El Hadj is their taxi driver and we organised pretty much our whole trip throughout Senegal with him - he was fantastic. And there are a few restaurants nearby with delicious food. The breakfast offered at the B&B was delicious. Thank you!

The staff was amazing, rooms are finishing.. The place could become one of the best into the village!
