First of all the responses and replies from Paula and Marcia were excellent, prompt and informative. Never have we seen such quick responses any time of the day...I was -4hr GMT. The apartment was clean and comfortable...All amenities for a comfortable stay was available. .They were there to greet us and explained everything in detail. great views and shared facilities - terrace, hot tub, shaded back garden. delicious plentiful breakfast. spacious unit. short water outage on the last morning (general outage in the village, ~1 hour total), we were allowed late checkout to make time for showers etc.

Value for money unbeatable! The host is very friendly, the room is spacious and very clean. And a bottle of red wine as a welcome gift is heartwarming (or rather palate soothing) - thank you!! Breakfast sufficient and good. We also enjoyed watching authentic village life, sitting in front of the accommodation on a bench, next to the church (and that is the only 'annoying' thing - the extremely loud chiming of the bell) Highly recommendable!

Absolutely everything, the location in a tiny authentic village, the territory was marvelous and with lots of green, the rooms new and comfortable able , the breakfast was delicious . Just night in a dream

The house itself is very pleasant. It is not big but it surely has all that you need. Perfect for a couple, still very good for a family of four. The kitchen has the necessary equipment and the bathroom is also totally functional and clean. The small living room has a nice TV to spend some time relaxing at night. It is located in a small village with a quiet sphere. There is a square close to the house where parking can be found but there are not many spaces there. The breakfast is on you, so stock up in a local supermarket before going home!

Nice cosy place, with friendly atmosphere. Excellent location near Serra da Estrela, although the village itself does not offer much more than Casas do Cruzeiro. The restaurant is also a very good option. You don’t need to go out, and the food and service are quite good.

Staying in Villa Alzira was a fantastic experience! Quiet, calm, beautiful, was like getting out of the world for a couple of days! The Playa fluvial near the Villa was amazing and so relaxing! The owners were very kind and provided us with many tips to visit the area. They were also relaxed about our check out time. The breakfast provided was incredible and we had one dinner at their restaurant, that we truly enjoyed!
