We were met by the very friendly and helpful host, Isabella. She showed us through our apartment and explained that a breakfast basket would be delivered to our door at our preferred time in the morning. It was loaded with goodies like fresh bread, cheese, ham, yogurt and fruit. We received such a basket with fresh food on each morning of our stay. The property has a pool and lounge area with majestic views over the picturesque Douro Valley. It was a great spot to eat our breakfast and relax in the evening after a busy day out and about. A morning and afternoon swim was a must. We absolutely recommend this property. Thank you Isabella !!

I cannot begin to express how good Helena and her home were. The facilities are in perfect condition and cleaned to perfection. You have everything you need. Multiple bathrooms, lots of towels, a wonderful jacuzzi, a great kitchen to cook in, a pool table in perfect condition, an honors bar with an excellent selection of wine and soft drinks, balconies. The list goes on and on. The breakfast Helena personally makes everyday is extraordinary. There is a very wide selection and more than enough food to carry you through lunch and provide an afternoon snack. But the best thing about this rental is Helena herself. She is charming, kind and caring in a special way. Even though I am older than her, it felt like I had my grandmother taking care of me. Her daughter Daniela is also very charming. Spending time talking to Helena was the highlight of our trip. I would recommend this worldclass rental to anyone. There is no way you could do better in Pinhao, Portugal or anywhere else in the world.

Fantastic setting only minutes walk to historic center of town and shops, bars, restaurants. The pool was inaugurated only months ago and it was heavenly to sit by the patio and swim, wine/dine and enjoy the Duero views. The hosts were lovely, responsive and always ready to guide you on anything. They were incredible and prepare a lovely home-style breakfast. Thank you, obrigado and merci!!!

Fantastic place to stay! Incredible staff, perfect location ( 10 minute walk to Pinhão) with stunning views. Exceptional quality food and comfortable rooms. We stayed here for two nights and would do it again in a heartbeat. Super cosy place with amazing views over the river and you can watch the view from the pool as well. Everyone there are friendly and the family style dinner was a cute concept. Breakfast was quite simple but sufficient! Our room was very clean and cosy! Perfect place for relaxation and visiting wineries. We didn’t have a car with us, but it was very easy to travel around to the wineries and train station with a taxi (around 10e) and the staff will help you book the taxi :)
