We like absolutely everything. The house is beautiful and very typical to Algarve region. The apartment is super clean, very cozy and well equipped. Maria is very kind and attentive, she prepared everything for us and welcomed us although we arrived late in the night. She was helping us in any topics, it was a pleasure to stay in her house. The beach is 10-15 minutes by foot, or 2 minutes by car, nice sandy beach with sandstone cliffs nearby. The ocean was a bit cold, when we were there, but this we managed somehow.

Everything! All staff members - reception, housekeeping, restaurant and chauffeur were so lovely. Even after my reservation was over, reception staff offered me a few extra hours in my room until I left the resort as I was waiting for friends coming from faro airport to land, pick up our car and pick me up. They also offered me access to the pool, all free of charge as it was a hot day and wanted to make me as comfortable as possible! My friend organised a early birthday surprise with reception staff in our apartment which was absolutely beautiful. The staff members at the restaurant hold a special place in my heart. Me and my friend were definitely some of the younger residents at the resort and they never failed to put a smile on our faces. Genuinely cannot wait to come back to this resort and hopefully see these individuals again. All in all Pestana Gramacho Residences was the perfect spot to kick off my 20th birthday trip in Portugal. I have never felt so content with an established; my review says it all. 1000% book a stay here; I genuinely believe you’ll have the best time. Thank you for the amazing memories PGR! :)

Just out of Carvoiera, about 2kms, is this lovely B&B. It's in the perfect location to explore the Algarve region of Portugal as we had a car & it provided safe/secure off street parking. The breakfast was abundant (with eggs) providing a large range of delicious food....you certainly won't go hungry. There was a really nice pool but we didn't use it as we went to the beach instead. Restaurants nearby in Carvoiero were no more than a 5 minute drive away & parking was easy even though it was busy. The staff were lovely & friendly & although I try to speak Portuguese their English is perfect. We loved staying here & would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at the beautiful guesthouse Casa Felicia. The space was spotless and felt tastefully modern yet still retained an authentic Portuguese charm that made it truly special. Breakfast each morning was fresh and satisfying, a lovely way to start the day. Raquel, our host, was incredibly welcoming and kind. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, offering great recommendations for places to visit in the area. Her two adorable dogs added an extra touch of warmth to the experience! One moment that especially stood out was during a national power outage—Raquel generously provided us with dinner, making sure we were taken care of even in unexpected circumstances. That kind of hospitality is rare and deeply appreciated. We would absolutely recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Raquel, for such a memorable and heartfelt stay! Once you opened the door to the property, what a wonderful surprise! The entrance patio and outside area is gorgeous! Gudrun has decorated the entire property tastefully and the outside shower, potted succulents and water features are beautiful. The room and bathroom are decorated beautifully, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. A kettle, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and a bar fridge are supplied. There is a double cupboard with plenty of space. We found parking easily on the road as we came and went it was easy to find space, but when locals return from work, it can get more busy. If we are in Lagoa again, we most certainly will be back!

The apartment was fabulous but three flights of stairs with heavy luggage was not good . Steep hills to and from village not suitable for the elderly but the breakfast in the local square was fabulous

Amazing villa for the price, in a great location overlooking the coast and mountains to the east. Lots of space both inside and outside. Location is great, just within walking distance of both the old town and main beach, which is highly recommended.
