This was one of the best accommodations we visited as family in several last years. Very nice vacation house, fully equipped, very clean, very comfortable with all you need. Pool was clean. House owner sent us history of the house which was very nice. Marcel, who welcomed us, was very kind and nice to us. Thank you Location is exceptional, one of the best we have seen. Fresh renovation and modern design in the room. The room had everything we needed for comfort stay. There is a coffee machine, a safe, glasses and cups, and a refrigerator in the room. You can easily ask for pool towels at the reception. There is no iron in the room, but you can request one at the reception, and they will promptly bring it to your room along with an ironing board, which you can keep for the entire duration of your stay. The pool is very clean, and I truly enjoyed my stay.

Super welcoming and kind staff, always here, happy to help with a smile. The facilities are excellent, pool, jacuzzi and sauna. The apartment is well equipped, and big with direct access to the garden and facilities. Just missing a big mirror.

We loved the apartment. It was clean and had everything you needed. The patio outside with shade, deckchairs and sofas was lovely. Reception was great and the taxi service in Carvoeiro was really good. I would definitely recommend Placid Village to anyone wanting a peaceful and relaxing time

I would score this property 11/10 if this were possible. It's spacious, well-maintained and quiet. Location is great -- a few minutes walk from the city and the cliffs. Sufficiently far, however, for it to be quiet. We have not met our host (keys are left in a lock box), but they were in contact all the time, ensuring we had a good time. The apartment was impeccably clean. There were extensive guides prepared by the host, in multiple languages, on what to expect, where to find anything that's needed, what the nearby attractions are, recommended bars and restaurants. You can see the effort put in there.
