The views from the hotel rooms are absolutely breathtaking, nestled in a valley between two hillsides. The lush vegetation and the soothing sound of the nearby river create a wonderfully relaxing ambiance, perfect for rejuvenating your energy. On hot summer days, the hotel provides a refreshing saltwater pool for guests to cool off. For those seeking a more "natural" experience, the nearby Paiva river is just a short five-minute walk away and offers an excellent spot for a swim. While the hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, they do offer a convenient "home delivery" service, allowing guests to order typical Portuguese cuisine dishes from a nearby restaurant and have them delivered right to their doorsteps. Our stay at the cabin was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking — waking up to that scenery was a dream. The host was incredibly kind and responsive, answering all our questions and helping us quickly and kindly when we had any issues or needed assistance. You can really feel the love and thought that was put into every detail of this place. We left feeling refreshed and grateful, and we would absolutely love to come back again. Highly recommended!

Very clean establishment. Excellent host service. We had an issue on the road and arrived very late (midnight) and the host was very understanding and helped us with the parking and our luggage. The kitchen and bedrooms are very respectable. Also, the view from the bedroom balcony is very nice. Everything was perfect, the only thing needed is a translation app, as they don't speak English.

A haven of peace and tranquility. The rooms are very comfortable and everything is very clean and tidy. The lady owner was very nice and had even baked a cake for us on arrival. The property also has a balcony with fabulous views. It is in the perfect location for visiting the Arouca 516 suspension bridge. Would not hesitate to return.

Lovely villa and grounds. The owner and staff were very kind and friendly. Breakfast was perfect every morning. The room was very comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious. We would absolutely return next time we return to the area.

A village house with private bedrooms with toilet and shared kitchen and living room all clean and equipped. Location up in the hill, we arrived with car and parked at the street (parking in the property is also available). Breakfast was good and fruits were fresh. Very clean and a good location to explore near by geopark.

This property is scrupulously clean, modern and comfortable. Patricia gave us a professional and friendly greeting and a similar experience upon departure. The location is quiet and is an easy and interesting walk into the lovely town of Arouca. We highly recommend the Villa Tavares Suites and will definitely stay there again when we return to the area.
