It is problably the best place to stay if you want to explore the Batad rice terraces and the waterfall. The view is stunning, you can enjoy your meal or brewed coffee while overlooking the whole place. Rooms are simple but clean and cosy with comfortable beds. The shared shower comes with warm water. It could be only problem for very demanding tourists but unless you are a snowflake you will be ok (the owners keep evrything clean all the time). Food is homemade and very good. Owners are heartwarming people that will always try to help you with anything you need. For the tour we used a guide we got recommended and it was worth it. It’s not that easy to navigate around the terrases and she was very knowledgeable, explaining us everything we wanted to know.

5 minutes walk away from the bus station, perfect location. Wi-Fi is fast in the restaurant and it even reaches my room on the 2nd floor, Room 1. My room has the best view.

I have stayed here for 6 nights. I have been taken good care of here. The location is just a little away from the town but gives you space to enjoy the tranquility. The room is simple and basic but is enough for basic needs. The view is not bery broad terraced rice but green and beautiful enough to fond peace here. The food is the best in this area! The staff are really nice, helpful and thoughtful. They provide various trips to suit different needs. They also respect my privacy and my time. They didn’t bother me when I just wanted to be alone. I really enjoyed my staying here. Thank Bogah Lodge!

A very basic place as you would expect in a place like Batad but has all the amenities needed, including food, comfy bed and even a rooftop which is a nice place to read after a morning hike around the rice terraces. The family that runs the guesthouse is super friendly and very responsive to messages. There is no wifi, but you can buy a wifi package very cheaply if you really need it during your visit.

Tani is the most awesome person I met in the Philippines. He’s a tour guide by heart and was so helpful! The tour we did was great and Tani took care of everything needed. The rooms are comfy and clean and you can have a cold or hot shower in clean bathrooms!
