Sophie (owner of the lodge who also runs it) was very helpful and an amazing host, nothing was a hassle for her. She organised for us last minute an amazing tour, which everyone else seemed to say no to. It was the best tour we’ve been on in a long time! Dinner is on a long table which makes it a nice family style. There are bikes for guests to use and paddle/kayaks all complimentary which was very nice. The beach in front of the lodge is small and we had it all to ourselves (everyone was out on excursions) which made it feel like we were in our own private little area. Thank you for the experience you have created for us!

The reception was warm and caring. When I left the lady who dropped me off to the airport gave me a flower necklace and I felt warm with this gift. The support in terms of tips and care was exceptional. They even have bikes available to use, which was my transport in the island. The place is ideal for solo traveler or a couple, is a studio with all you need and everything clean and modern.There are close restaurants and market but the beach is a bit faraway to go by bike.

We were staying at a new apartment and we loved the style and handmade decorations. What is really special about that place is the owner- she makes the best ambience, take care of the guests herself and goes far beyond the expectations. Also best breakfast we had during our stay in French Polinesia.

We stayed in a triple room with shared bathroom. It was great ! The room was simple but nice. The bathrooms were clean. The location right by the beach is a plus. They have their own small private beach. The bungalows looked nice as well. I would have booked those one, but they were already full. The triple room comes with shared kitchen that has all the basic necessities to cook something. The pension is 15 min by walk from the airport and max 3 min by walk from the supermarket.

Going to the Motu and the bungalow there is very very nice. It has amazing views and such peace. Also great we can use the canoes for free.

Everything. Emmanuelle, the host, is just the best. Right from before I arrived, she advised on getting to the place, the practicalities, the expectations. Then, she arranged for me to be met, taken to the quay, & met me at the other side to take me to the beautiful house, showing me, on the way, the way points to navigate to it. And what a beautiful house! Next to the lagoon, with wide verandahs to relax on. All the facilities you need. Kayaks, bicycles, snorkels, etc, all available for your use, freely. Lovely breakfasts arrive each morning. And dinner, by arrangement, should you wish. The house is airy & light, spacious & bright. I said it was my favourite place I'd stayed at on my extensive travels - & I meant it. I recommend Le Fare Bleu without hesitation.
