The property has two individual bungalows that are very spacious, with high ceilings, good bathroom and fly screens all around the windows. Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.

Rosa's House is an amazing place just outside the city of Puerto Maldonado. Rosa and Elvis make you feel at home and they have a very affectionate dog (Kira). My Spanish is not great but it is nice to practice it here because they are very patient. The food that Rosa cooks is local and tastes great. Their garden borders the jungle and Elvis gave us a nighttour twice. We saw tarantula's, snakes and porcupines. I am so happy that we stayed here and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Amazing place in the Amazon. We really enjoyed our stay here, the bungalows were simple but perfect, all you need in nature. It was out of the center but if you are looking for something affordable in nature this is the perfect place.

Animals and staff were lovely, I'm in love with the cats! it feels very eco friendly there too. Hang out areas are nice and the breakfast is great. Will be coming back more often :)

Had a great time in this hostel! The room was clean and spacious, the garden had a pool and hammocks for relaxing. Raul and his mother were very friendly and helpful, Raul offered a cheap taxi service and a city tour on the first day. They also offered me homegrown fruit and explained a lot about the local fauna and flora. Would definitely recommend and will come back for sure!

Breakfast was absolutely delicious, fresh and healthy! The property was absolutely gorgeous, the room, clean and comfortable, the staff were so so friendly, and went out of their way to make you feel very comfortable. It was an amazing accommodation!!
