The staff here are very friendly and enthusiastic, and provide a lot of practical information on traveling to Machu Picchu. There is also free tea and water in the hotel lobby. The hotel is very clean and tidy, with plenty of hot water. It is located in the city center but it is not noisy. There are also a cheap and delicious roast chicken restaurant and a bakery downstairs. It is the best choice for backpackers who want to save money.

Carlos was brilliant, he met us at the station and helped us carry our bags to the hostel. He gave us loads of great tips about our trip to Machu Picchu the next day, buying bus tickets etc. The hostel was clean and lovely, with warm water and comfy beds. There is a beautiful view from the breakfast area and Carlos provided fruit, fresh bread, tea and eggs before our trip up Machu Picchu.

Wonderful Rina met us at the station. She was very kind and helpful and gave us lots of information about travelling up and down to Machu Picchu. Very conveniently located just 5 mins from train station and close to many great restaurants and bars. The area is perfect for a one night stay before or after MP. Room was clean and comfortable. Nice simple breakfast in the morning ready at the time you ask for it in advance. Would recommend staying here.

Very comfortable bed. Super nice staff - they were the best and so helpful. Breakfast was amazing even as vegans, perfect before a Machu Picchu hike. The shower was so warm, perfect after we got in from the Salkantay Trek.
