Very attentive staff, good location, and I loved that, in case you have already checked out, they have extra showers for when you come back from the machu picchu hike.

The hotel is 1 minutes away from the train stop station. We found the location to be perfectly situated for our needs. The room was very clean, nicely decorated, it gave a modern-traditional vibe. It had a comfortable bed and pillows. The room we had was riverside facing, we could hear the river flowing, however it was a really nice sound to fall asleep with. The train did not bother us, i think there were just 2 trains arriving early in the morning, however our tours started early in the morning so it was not an issue for us. The restaurant downstairs is excellent, it has great food and the most delicious pisco sour. The breakfast could have been better, but it was ok.

A super comfort room with a magnificent mountain view❤️ I had to leave early for Machu Picchu so the nice lady from the reception arranged a breakfast-to-go for me.

We booked this accommodation last minute on the same day because our previous reservation was cancelled. We usually opt for cheaper places with good reviews, but this time we chose this hotel to treat ourselves — and it was very nice! The hotel has such lovely rooms. Everything was squeaky clean and spacious, the bed was enormous, and the bedsheets were very nice and white, just as they should be. We were actually sorry that we stayed only one night and had to leave very early. There is a very nice common area with lots of plants, giving the place a tropical resort vibe. We didn’t have breakfast as we left early for Machu Picchu, but I’m sure it was just as great as the rooms. There is also a restaurant next to the reception with a menú turístico for a very good price. We ate there twice and were very happy.

Carlos was brilliant, he met us at the station and helped us carry our bags to the hostel. He gave us loads of great tips about our trip to Machu Picchu the next day, buying bus tickets etc. The hostel was clean and lovely, with warm water and comfy beds. There is a beautiful view from the breakfast area and Carlos provided fruit, fresh bread, tea and eggs before our trip up Machu Picchu.

We were just there for a short stay but it was lovely. We are travelling a lot, and when you do, you need three things: security via attentive staff, hot showers and a comfortable, warm bed. Mapi Gardens has all three. The shower was amazing, a waterfall showerhead and no problem trying to find the right 'code' to break with the hot and cold taps, like other places can have! We left at 5:30am for Machu Picchu, and were able to leave a small bag with reception for the day, until we returned for an afternoon train. The beds are comfortable and have the quilt and blankets needed for a warm night's rest. Everything is very clean. As with any hotel at this price point, you can hear some outside noises, and other guests if they are loud. We had someone next door who cleared their throat too much haha. If noise bothers you, bring earplugs. Note: there are stairs to get to your room. This is not a place to stay if you are unable to climb stairs. Otherwise, it is great and absolutely perfect for a stay at Aguas Calientes!

Located away from the loud center but there was still some music you could hear comming from outside. It was a really nice and clean room and a good location for a trip to Matchu Pichu. Even though I checked-out early, they let me take a shower when I came back from Matchu Pichu.
