It's a humble place in a humble town. You can't expect the comfort and commodities of a big city hotel in here, but when you come here I guess that's not what you are looking for. You get value for the money you pay. Nice room, cleaned, comfortable bed. Familiar environment.

Good place location, 15 minutes walking to Buddha birth place. Hotel restaurant offer really good food at a reasonable price, recommended. Jupiter(owner) is a really nice human being and will try to help you whenever you need. He gave me a ride to the Indian border and this was very helpful. I stayed only one night and would like to extend one more to explore the area a bit more but it was not possible due to visa expiration unfortunately. Room size ok, good hot shower.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 days and I really enjoyed it a lot. The staff was so kind and helpful, I fell sick during my stay and the young man offered me some medicine which helped me a lot. The food was also very good, the room was clean and comfortable with a balcony. The hotel is also extremely well located, just next to the bus station, to the temples and to the few shops and restaurants in the village. I really recommend this hotel!

I had a great stay at Lumbini Village Lodge, it was my first stop in Nepal and the staff made my stay so comfortable. They helped me get the correct sim for my time in the country, and plan out a route for the best places to visit whilst here. THe room was spacious and very affordable, and the property as a whole was very clean. I cannot recommend staying here enough.

The best option to stay in Lumbini! Close to the centre of everything - to main entrance, to old village, to Gate number five and Maya Davi Temple. I am very pleased and satisfied by my stay! Sweet family running business! Very polite and helpful stuff! Nice and clean hotel restaurant! Extremely good value for the money! When you’re Lumbini I suggest to stay only in this hotel!

the warmest welcome at this Guest House! we had very comfortable rooms and beds, and the breakfast was delicious. we were invited to feel completely at home, and the environment was calm and peaceful. our host really helped us to plan how to explore and get the most out of our stay in Lumbini. He also helped us sort out our travel to the border and onwards into India. I would really recommend the Lumbini Village Lodge!

I had a wonderful stay at the Lumbini Village Lodge ! Host Jupiter is very knowledgeable and can help you with arranging tours to the local archaeological sites if you are so inclined - he also helped me arrange transport across the border to India. The hotel itself is well-located nearby the Maya Devi Temple and the Lumbini Development project - the best restaurants are just around the corner as well ! I will be sure to visit again when I am next in Nepal.

The lumbini village lodge is a perfect place to stay in lumbini! The owner Jupiter and his family are very welcoming and always making sure to help. Also the facilities are very nice, with a garden in the middle which provides a nice shade also during the hot temperatures. I really enjoyed my stay there and would recommend to anyone!

Very good location near Gate No. 5 (Most direct way to Maya Devi the main temple at Lumbini), very near to Lumbini village where the tourist buses leave from. But located just away from the village so it is quiet. Family helpful and accommodating. Would stay there again!
