Was there for 5 nights but could have happily stayed for 2 weeks. Food was amazing and almost all home grown. Location also perfect (just outside the town, with a beautiful view) and lots of nearby hiking trails/tracks/villages to explore. Probably my favourite place in Nepal.

Jungle Crown Organic Homestay is like a home to us in Nagarkot. Keshav and his family treat us with utmost care and hospitality. They are very considerate about our needs and even go extra mile to accommodate us always since we arrived straight from the airport. ☺️ More so, Nagarkot Suspension bridge and waterfalls are all nearby, very convenient for us to hike anytime of the day. The owner is very kind and accommodating! If you want a good sunrise view this is the place for you. This also applies if you want a traditional and local experience with a true Nepali!

Small friendly little homestay. Very basic, but comfortable with a hot shower and alright wifi. Breakfast was ok, but the owner would do whatever he could to make you comfortable. it's a bit out of town with a uphill walk, with that said the hotels in town didn't look great. one massive bonus here is tou get the most amazing sunsets over the Kathmandu valleys

A good little room! Nice hot shower, clean bedding and a towel! Located a little away from the centre but makes for a quiet and peaceful stay. The owners happily provide a home cooked meal. It’s not too far from the panoramic walk/sunrise VP!

Shekhar is a special person that has created a special place for travellers to come together, share and find a likeminded community which this place seems to attract. On arrival I felt immediately at peace as it feels like home and has the best energy. Shekhar is very generous with sharing his time to show guests around the hidden gems of Bhaktapur and knowledge of Nepali and Newari culture. Staying here wasn’t just a place to sleep, it was an experience of getting to really know the city and Nepali way of life. Staying here also reminded me of the important things in life - good company, community, music, spirituality, art, food, learning and exploring. It was one of the highlights of two months travelling Nepal which speaks volumes :)

First, we simply loved Bhaktapur! We were nicely welcomed to Milla's guesthouse, and honesly the place is a jewel. (I could easily live there!) The room nicely decorated, the bed was comfortable, and the caretaker offered to guide us through the old city, it was a beautiful experience. At night we went for dinner at Tusa, a culinary experience by passionate restaurateur. (minutes away from the guest house). Breakfast was a delight!
