Staying at Hasera has truly been one of the most special experiences of my time in Nepal. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed like family. The warmth, kindness, and hospitality of everyone here made it feel like a second home! The family is incredibly caring and always willing to help or think along with you, making sure you feel comfortable! I stayed here for almost a month, and after traveling, I decided to return for another stay. Coming back to Hasera felt just like coming home again! And the food…it’s so good!! Fresh from the garden!! Would love to come back another time! :)

My time at Patlekhet Eco Farmhouse was truly unforgettable. Bishnu and his family's warm hospitality made me feel instantly at home. It's an incredible place to immerse yourself in Permaculture, experience authentic Nepali family life, and savor some of the country's most delicious home-cooked meals. During my stay, I walked to the Namobuddha Monastery, learned how to make momos, and even milked a cow! The farmhouse's idyllic setting, coupled with comfortable accommodations, provided the perfect respite after a month of trekking.

My stay at Shiva Guest House was excellent. Staying there truly felt like being at my own home. The environment was warm, welcoming, and comfortable, which made my stay very pleasant. When I checked out, the hosts kindly picked fresh oranges from their own garden and gave them to me, which was a very thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. If anyone is looking for a place that offers a genuine home like experience, I would highly recommend Shiva Guest House.

Sila is a wonderful host, alongside being at the initiative of this beautiful community project of families hosting houses, managed by the women. Thanks to that project, you get to stay in local houses for such a fair price, good hygiene and comfort, fresh and local food, all that while sustaining the community economy! Love it!! And for anything, you can ask Sila, who will totally make her best to help you in whatever you need and within her possibilities (we arrived as a 11 people group, at last minute after a change of plans and she managed lodging, transports, local guide, restaurant booking -as it was a festival time- all within a couple of hours!!). Huge thanks to Sila. Totally recommended

The family is beyond welcoming and kind. The sightseeing is mesmerizing even when it’s foggy in my point of view. The room with a private bathroom was spacious with a wonderful view on the fields.

Definately will go back next time we are in nepal. The family was really nice and welcoming my daughter played with their daughter sometimes. It is in a perfect location, for example if you ride the local bus for a little bit then you will end up in the city of nagarkot to do the panoramic hiking trail. Just a short walk from the home stay is the suspension bridge and if you walk just a little longer you will find a beautiful waterfall. One last thing, this is only an opinion, but they had a dog that my daughter really loved.
