The location is amazing, easy in to Utrecht by train and bike. The area is beautiful and peaceful. Steven is very helpful and got us hire bikes. The place is comfy, limited space for cooking but sufficient for holidays! Would definitely go back.

Amazing host and amazing accomodation. If you want a place to stay that’s a bit out of the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam - look no further. While relatively small, it didn’t feel too cramped for our family of 4. Breakfast was the best we’ve had at a B&B and Froukje’s thoughtfulness was second to none. We also opted to have a dinner here rather than venturing about. Was a stunning meal with soup starter, beef stew and vegetables and dessert. There’s a reason this place has so many high ratings. Absolutely amazing value for money - just book it now. And make sure to have a dinner here if you’re staying for multiple nights - an amazing meal.

We couldn't have found a more perfect place to stay for our holiday in the Netherlands. The owners were so friendly and accommodating, and added special touches of a greeting on a blackboard in the entrance hall, and some lovely homemade jam and grape juice. Only praise for this accommodation. I was there with 8 people in the winter and there was enough space for everyone. The advantage was that all the rooms had their own private bathroom. The fireplace was a big bonus in the large room. In any case, if I ever go back to the Netherlands, I would definitely choose this accommodation. I can imagine how beautiful this place is in the summer because there is a large garden with a jacuzzi and a sauna. What made this fantastic stay even more pleasant was the hostess Senne, who took care of us as if we were her own family. The breakfast she made was so enjoyable, everyone in our group praised it. In addition, she organized everything we could wish for, such as a taxi to Amsterdam, dinner with a private Italian chef, etc. Thank you again Senne, thanks to you we had a very memorable holiday.

We loved the countryside location and yet it is so close to Utrecht city centre (30mins by bicycle). Very eccentric collections in the house which makes for interesting viewing! Beautiful garden at the back of the property. Two bicycles were ready for us and we cycled everywhere (even Kasteel De Haar). Belle Bistro were also a great restaurant next door. Lovely stay for my wife and I who needed a breather from the cities.

I liked everything about this place, not only is this place an amazing place to relax and unwind, it feels like a home. It's lovingly decorated and a lot of thought has gone into making it comfortable. There is a large lounge area with sofas, a TV and also a lounge bed and a tiny snug to relax on/in. There is bean bags and instruments like bongos, guitar, didgeridoo's around the estate if you're feeling musical. There is lots of ambient lighting, orniments like budda heads and crystals which add to the awesome energy of this place. The countryside in which it is situated is also beautiful with canals and waterways splitting the bright green fields in every direction. There is a bike rental near by and the cycle into Mijdrecht is flat and fairly easy with great sights of local wildlife and farm animals. Mijdrecht it's self is great too and has nice restaurants, supermarkets and a good coffeeshop. Staying in this home was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience that me and my friends will definitely be booking again.

Great place if you have a car. Beautiful and well equipped apartment with a great view of the port and canal. Nice kitchen area and living room with balcony. Cleaning gentleman was very friendly. I would return. The nearby villages are charming.
