House on Olof Palme is as beautiful a guesthouse as you will find in Windhoek. Clean and well maintained, in a safe area, well run, pool, comfy rooms. Mostly a business crowd and regulars, which speaks for the experience. But what makes the place special is the hosts. They know when to chat and make one feel welcome, and when to stay in the background to let guests enjoy their stay. Their staff are well trained and always cheerful. Renette's restaurant recommendations were top notch - not a bad meal while we stayed in town. When we left for our inland trip they even provided us with a well-stocked ice box. We are not normally making aquaintances on vacation. But with these two? One simply wants to stay in touch. Thank you both for your warm hospitality! Until we meet again.

This B&B is in a very quiet but quite central area of Windhoek. Exceptional architecture and landscaping design, outdoor terrace. Room was big, with stocked up fridge, nice bathroom. Breakfast gourmet quality, superb table presentation, included passion fruit from the garden, home made preserves, hams and cheeses, top notch expreso coffee, etc. I had very nice conversations with the hosts, who know Namibia and South Africa very well, I wish I stayed here at the beginning of the trip not at the very end. When I go back to Windhoek this will be THE place I will be staying again.
