The location was spectacular and the staff was friendly and welcoming,the one hour quad tour was amazing,the food ,breakfast and dinner which were incredible at the price were also good if compared to other places in Morocco and the most important thing was what we paid was the same price what was agreed!

the camp was beautiful, all facilities were present, the food was great, the guys working there were so fun and sweet, they played us music and danced with us around the campfire, the camel ride to the camp and the 4x4 ride back to merzouga the next day were a lot of fun. 10/10 experience!

and I never regretted it. The camel I rode during the trip was very gentle and calm, and the guide who was with us explained a lot about the area. The food was delicious, especially the chicken tagine. After dinner, we sat around the fire listening to stories from the Berbers; it was a wonderful human experience. Morning in Merzouga has a different flavor — the view of the sunrise made me believe that the world’s beauty never ends.

Our trip to the dessert included that wonderful camp! We had a delicious dinner and a traditional breakfast!! We also enjoyed the traditional music event and we danced around the fire. The only negative was the sandboarding. They gave us just some boards without the appropriate boots just like snowboarding.We just rode on without using the bindings of the board.

Everything except the food (see disclaimer). As long as you're not expecting Michelin star dining, i think you'd be extremely satisfied with everything else that Soleil has to offer. We were attended to by Ayoub and he was a great host. Responsive, helpful, informative, with a good command of English. He gave clear instructions for us to park our rental car at Hotel Cafe du Sud (free and safe parking), picked us and our luggage up in his 4x4, and dropped us at the start point of our camel ride (sunset camel ride to the campsite @ 15 euros/pax). Camel ride itself was quite an experience and i would recommend it if you've never been on one before (also the camels didn't smell bad since it was winter/cold). Towards the end of the camel ride the nomad camel guide will sit you down and peddle his wares to earn some additional income.. we just saw it as an appropriate opportunity to offer him some money as tips for his good service. No issues =) Soleil camp is a 2-month old (at point of writing this review, Feb 2023) campsite. It is considered a more 'private' campsite as it only houses 4 accommodation tents for guests, so i would recommend this if you're not a fan of big rowdy tourist crowds. However, as with most of the other desert camps, you're still within sight (and earshot) of neighbouring camps/companies, so you can forget about being 'alone in the desert'. Location of this campsite is a distance away from the big Erg Chebbi dunes.. so if your intention is to climb the dune.. you might want to choose an alternate site or arrange a quadbike ride. Because it's new, the interior of the accommodation tents are clean and in tiptop condition. Very spacious and more than enough for a traveling couple. No room heating or air conditioning (the place runs mainly on solar power with a gas generator as backup), but you do get hot water (heated by fire wood) and a steady supply of water.

Best place we stayed in Maroc. Comfortable, clean and excellent food. Mobarak, Hassan and his father made us feel like home. Hassan also came with us to show some of the best local places. Wonderful stay at this desert camp. This is really like a hotel (electricity, water, bathroom, everything you need). The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The tents are spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated. The breakfast and the dinner was delicious. Music at the camp fire! It was truly a wonderful experience! I can only recommend ;) Thank you guys.
