Had a great tima At Udara’S place! We had a lovely welcome,and Udara gave us a lot information about his garden. Room was big and clean. Udara’s mum prepared us a dinner-so far the best one we Had in Sri Lanka.

Everything is perfect at Tribe Yala. It is an incredible and unique glamping experience. The “tents” (it is more of a 5 star hotel suite) are clean, spacious, fully equipped (private wifi and AC) and comfortable. We also had a private jacuzzi. Besides, the food is exceptional (one of the best we have had in Sri Lanka). We did the one day safari and it was certainly one of our favorite days of our entire trip. You get to see many animals while being accompanied by a wildlife specialist (ours was Kusar and he is very knowledgeable and friendly). Staff from the hotel met us inside the national park to bring us a delicious Sri Lankan lunch. Finally, the staff of the hotel is amazing. Thank you Rua and Latchan for your friendliness and professionalism. We will come back for sure!

Fantastic location, close to long stretch of empty beach. The host Hansa is super friendly and makes amazing Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner. The room was simple, but perfectly comfortable, with quiet and effective air con. Access is down a very bumpy unmade road, but iur driver had contacted the hotel in advance and arranged to meet Hansa on the main road and he picked us up. The safari organised by the hotel was very good.

Kele Yala is a boutique hotel situated in the dry zone in Kataragama.

The staff were amazing and met all of our needs. They were very friendly and knowledgable about the area. The food was outstanding and gave us a choice each day on what we would like. It was very refreshing to not have wifi and be able to unwind and take in the amazing scenior and be able to listen to the nature. The room was so spacious and decorated beautifully. Jerome organised our private safari which was great as we had nothing to do only turn up at the time organised. We couldnt have asked for any more. 5 star

We were met with an outstanding service from the moment we were picked up at the meeting point just outside the camp. All the staff are extremely kind og serviceminded. The tents are clean and everything is working as it has to. I have nothing else to say besides it was just perfect 😊

We can’t emphasise just how good this place is. We loved the villa (it’s absolutely huge and packed with details), but the food was probably the best part. I’m not sure how they managed to cook up some of the best Sri Lanka and western food we have had in Sri Lanka - the chef is a genuine magician. The breakfasts were varied, and the dinner menus were crafted to our requirements with delicious sides.

The safari was, without a doubt, the highlight of our stay in Sri Lanka and the absolute best way to experience Yala National Park. Our guide, Pramoth, was exceptional—his deep knowledge of the wildlife and his incredible ability to spot all the animals we had hoped to see (and even more!) made the adventure truly special. What set him apart was how he managed to make the experience memorable even after the safari itself, sharing stories and insights that enriched our understanding. A special shoutout to our driver, Chaminda, who was nothing short of a jungle pilot, skillfully navigating the rugged terrain with ease and adding to the thrill. I cannot recommend this experience enough—it’s a must for anyone visiting Sri Lanka!
