The perfect place to rest for a couple of nights. We could have sat on the terrace all day. Very unique colonial with a refreshing pool but what made this stay was the staff. All went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Visit Gampola to experience rural Sri Lanka. We happened upon a village school nearby the hotel on a short stroll that was an amazing experience.

The stay was amazingly great ! The staff was friendly,caring and professional. The rooms are spacious and with the latest amenities. The view to the pool and to the balconies were breathtaking. When they ask about food preferences one week before the stay, we ask for western food for both dinner and breakfast and they arrange a mouthwatering christmas eve dinner table for our family of 15 people with a three course sit down menu. So the stay went so great and amazing.

The room is clean, spacious and the VIEW!! Absolutely amazing property. The room’s entrance is through the guest kitchen which is very convenient when travelling with kids and is super clean. Above and beyond expectations and previous reviews were great. Beautiful environment, and a balcony better than any other we've found, superbly clean.owner and his wife are wonderful hosts, home cooked food was the best we've tasted in Sri Lanka. A dream place, we are already planning our return trip. We've stayed in many places in Sri Lanka, this is the best and incredible value.

We loved the location, it's on a hill and you can see the river below. There is plenty of space inside and outside the villa. We had an amazing tour of the land surrounding the villa and it was nice to see how people work and live there. The team took very good care of us and made sure we had the best time there. The food was truly amazing, a great expiriance of Sri Lankan national dishes. We will definitely be coming back.
