The property was extremely high standard and above the expectations. We checked in the property very late like 10.45 pm, Mr Sampath's father gave us such a warm welcome and he went an extra mile to treat our taxi driver with tea in that late hours even without our request. The room, bathroom and balcony area are spotless and tidy. The balcony has a nice view. No disturbance at all from anybody. Very comfy beds and everything is very new. No dirt at all. The Ella town is just 3 mins walk away. Can't imagine you can get this kind of quality location/property for this value. Breakfast was more than for 2. Delicious. Since we checked out the property early morning like 5.45 am after two nights stay they gave us a toasted egg sandwich packet too. Also, Mr Sampath's father arranged transport from the property to Ella station that morning in minutes, only he asked whether he arrange it as we had no idea other than walking in that early morning. We highly recommend the property and will stay there only on our all vacations to Ella. It was that good experience. Thank you so much Mr. Sampath, Uncle and Aunty for your such humble care for us.

This was our best stay in Sri Lanka, in 28days! The hosts are very sweet and kind, a pleasure to meet them! The room is very pretty, super clean and the towels and bedding smelled very good and fresh! It's located on the hill, very close to the main street where you find all the restaurants and coffees in Ella. Would definitely stay again!

Best sleep in Sri Lanka and best massage I have had! The tarp over the tent made it more comfortable, warm and the rain sounded lovely! Not as noisy as other places with their beautiful wildlife. Slept like a log. I wanted to book more nights but they were sold out. Cozy spot and you can see the trains.

Unfortunately my friend and I were not able to really enjoy the comforts of this place because we were so busy running around Ella. However, the homestay owners were the friendliest, the view was breathtaking, and I loved how quiet it was. The shower had hot water, the place was so clean (and so is the town!), and the beds with the mosquito net made me feel like a princess. Be mindful of animals.

Their best asset is the owners who really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. They organized a guide for a trek and our train tickets last minute. The room is comfy and cozy. We enjoyed the bike rental service provided by the Holiday home itself. We stayed 3 days and with the help of Mr. Kamal, we were able to get the best out of the vacation. I guess this is the only place in Ella that give exceptional service even though you are a Local. Love this place, and this will be our forever place if we come to Ella again! Thank you so much!
