the room was really clean for the location and the staff was really friendly! they were also really accommodating to our needs and we had no problems during our stay there. they also picked us up from the slow boat and then dropped us there the next day.

I was quite surprised to see the quality of the service (after reading some of the latest reviews). Our room was fully furnished and there were no bugs. However, we got a room in Thip Phavan Guesthouse and I don’t know whether this is the usual accommodation offered by Thipphaphone.

A quick overnight stay after day one on the slow boat. Monsavanh was a short walk up the hill, the very nice host met us immediately. Another short walk to an excellent restaurant before a good night's sleep. Also, the bakery across the road made us lunch to take the next day.

Such a good spot for the slow boat stop over. The lady offers to make you breakfast and lunch to take on the boat for the next day and the food was unreal. Such a nice view from our room and the room was massive and nice beds and wifi . They pick u up from the boat in a car which is helpful

This is a completely new hostel. Good location 10 minutes from the pier and they will pick you up from the pier by tuktuk. The room has 2 bathrooms. There is a great terrace overlooking the Mekong. They can prepare sandwiches for you on the road - this is very convenient. I spent two days here and if I had time I would have stayed for a week. During the day it is very quiet and peaceful here.
